Edible Goodness.
Edible goodness.

This isn’t the first time I’m saying this. The fat girl inside me is yearning to get out again.
I added a category and sub-category, for my own and my reader(s) reference. The recipes are password protected to keep it cleaner, they tend to be lengthy. Just type “recipe” into the field and hit enter, if you would like to read the recipe.
I’m currently a big fan of eggs.
Besides the ready-in-minutes Chai Por Omelette, I crave endlessly for omelette sammiches with roasted vegetables (ohhh) and foccacia bread, sunny-side-up sammiches, mushroom and cheese omelettes, steamed egg with meat and chai por chinese style, and Chawanmushi.
I never like to order this (Chawanmushi) at sushi restaurants, because I didn’t think they were worth the 6 or 7 bucks. But Chawanmushi is surprisingly difficult to make. The authentic thing involves japanese stock, and sake. Not forgetting the spiral fish cakes and pieces of chicken. For a recipe for Chawanmushi, click. I’ve never tried making it, but let me know if it is good.
