bittersweet, i thinks.
Usually, when they come to mind I just let them slide out. The moments we had. Now they have moments, less me.
Over the years, the people I’ve lost to nonchalance, and weird social situations (haha).
The basketball girls.
Sara, Jeremy, Sean and Tong. Cycling what was to me veryveryvery long distances to do things I can no longer remember. =) Dye-ing and washing each other’s hair. Watching soccer (oh god.) Solving Tong’s relationship problems. I thank all kinds of goodness I’ve kept ZhiLiang and found Sean again.
The 4G people. First Dennis, then James. Then my Kat and Liang were no longer mine. The last person I hugged from the group is Lewei and that was only because his girlfriend worked at my work and I got too excited when I saw him.
All these people made me happy to the core at some point or another, and I guess it’s OK that I sometimes get to mourn the loss of their companionship in my heart.
