Blossoming tulips
We planted a small patch of tulips in a corner of the backyard, where the sun was brightest every morning.
Each afternoon, I’d rush home and sit by the flower bed to see if they have bloomed yet.
I did everything I could to make them grow faster, but no matter how much water I gave them and how much I waited, the flowers would never grow faster.
Uncle Peter would see me sitting outside, and smile.
He told me to have patience, and let the flowers grow naturally.
Certain things don’t need to be rushed.
They just need time.
